Creating a schedule for your child is important because it helps them get familiar with a routine. I always hear other homeschool moms say that children thrive with a routine set in place.
When creating a preschool homeschool schedule for your 3-year-old or 4-year-old, you want to establish a good foundation for the future homeschool years. A portion of a good homeschool foundation for your children is finding a schedule that works best for your family.
It is easy to get distracted by what others around you or on social media do.
Some families choose to homeschool in the morning. Other families choose to homeschool in the evenings.
Some families homeschool only on the weekdays. Other families homeschool on Saturdays.
Some homeschool families choose to homeschool nine out of the twelve months. Other families homeschool year-round.

Sample Schedule
A simple sample schedule when we incorporate a homeschool lesson when we stay home.
Morning Activities: Independent Play, Read Books and Homeschool Lessons.
Afternoon Activities: Quiet Time or Nap Time.
Evening Activities: Board Games, Painting, Coloring, Dance Party, or Independent Play.

Morning Activities: After breakfast we head out to our outing.
Afternoon Activities: After Lunch, we do a homeschool lesson.

I did not put time stamps because every activity is different every day. Just keeping it real!
I realized putting a set time limit on each activity sets me up for stress. I want to create a rhythm and routine for my children to follow.
Not overwhelming but enough to where they feel like they have a structured routine in place.
