Summer is here! Create Fun Ocean Preschool Activities at home for your children.

An Ocean theme unit lesson is a great way to start the summer with children. It is a great way to introduce children to the beach if you are planning a visit for the first time or planning a visit to the aquarium.

Ocean inspired lessons you can do with your children:

I have created a simple activity pack that helps introduce children to the animals that live in the ocean. The activity pack is great for toddlers and preschoolers. Activities included are 3-Part Montessori cards, Letter Tracing and Coloring Sheets, Word Tracing, Word Building Activity, and Play-Doh Mats.

I recommend pairing this activity pack with books to help your child learn more about ocean animals. I have compiled a list of books you can read through your ocean-themed week.

3-Part Montessori Cards

These 3-Part cards will help your child build their vocabulary and visual learning by classifying material.

Ocean Animal Letter Tracing and Coloring Sheets

Eighteen sheets where your child can practice uppercase and lowercase letter tracing. Once they are done tracing, they can color the picture!

Word Building

Activity includes Montessori moveable alphabet letters. But if you have a moveable alphabet set at home, bring them out for this activity! Your child can practice word-building with ocean animal names.
