As a homeschool mom to two children, I have grown to love simple learning activities. I take the Play-Based and Montessori-inspired learning approach with my children. All the activity ideas that you read below are interactive and simple!
The three main key points I focus on when creating activities for preschool at home are:
- Easy for my 3-year-old to understand
- The activity is engaging enough for my 3-year-old
- Focuses on teaching the sound of the letter
I only focus on teaching “sit down” learning activities four days a week with short lessons. The activities take us anywhere from 20-30 min.
This blog post is all about Letter A Learning Activities.
